Article About Entertaiment
a form of recreation or amusement, such as a play, movie, game, or social activity that is diverting or exciting. The word entertainment is derived from the Latin intertenere, where the prefix inter means “inside,” and the suffix tenere means to hold or retain.
Often entertainment hits on the emotions that our brain was evolved to understand and react deeply to in order for us to function socially. For example many movies are about backstabbing, murders and other themes that our brain was shaped to understand as important in the world around us. This can also be true of other forms of entertainment such as sports or music.
